@Marcin I fully support you. This is public knowledge what happen. Your manager treated you scandalously. Your team leader resigned because of this behavior. We all know about it and stand by you. Hang in there, brother. That person was protected and next even promoted. And that was a real shame. Senior manager from Poland, who worked for the BIGGEST global companies many years (@Pracodawca is a small miniature dog compared to them), left this company (quick escape?) on their own decision. They didn't want to sign with his name what happen inside. Everyone saw that he was the best manager than anyone other in @Pracodawca . Also, I don’t know too many employees from the US or UK who are happy with this company in private conversations. After all, even managers (from US, UK and Poland) openly (but unofficial) tell people (yes, yes!) to look for other jobs, suggesting that there will be more layoffs - maybe around Christmas. I worked for this company a enough time to see official layoffs, or "layoffs" where remote workers were forced out, or "layoffs" where contractors were fired and that thing happened every three to six months. And then we are hearing that it was always everyone else's fault but not company. It was simply unfair. @Pracodawca should have to say truth that was cuts, but @Aleksey after you and your colleagues promoted the company with the slogan "we are hiring when others fire" was it too embarrassing to admit mistake? That's the point.

Thanks for these words! Fortunately, I currently work in a company with a great atmosphere and great people. As for my manager, he understands what this role is and supports the team and helps by organizing frequent 1x1 meetings. When I got there, I felt like I had changed a barn into a palace. In the case of Kaseya, even though I was promised a good introduction to the project before joining, I was forced into a different project than what I had agreed on during the interview. Contrary to what Aleksey wrote, my manager didn't care about us and didn't call us for meetings he was supposed to be at, not to mention that there was no support from him.

Widzę, że wielu pracowników dodało swoje uwagi. To i ja podzielę się swoimi przemyśleniami. Moim zdaniem ta firma tkwi w strukturalnych problemach związanych z kulturą organizacyjną, zarządzaniem i decyzjami kadrowymi. Tutaj strategia polegała na zastąpieniu pracowników Datto osobami z Krakowa, każdego tygodnia, miesiąca, kolejne osoby z UK i US nagle znikały. Niestety potem zaczęto zwalniać nawet w Polsce - tych, którzy przejęli obowiązki i mieli wiedzę o przejętych projektach.

I have joined Kaseya around half a year ago as a team lead. Company culture. The company is American but has diverse groups from both headquarters and many companies Kaseya has acquired over the years. The Krakow office was established a few years ago with a significant influence of staff coming from Bielarus where Kaseya office was discontinued. Currently, the office is staffed with people coming from all over Europe. I haven't experienced any form of favouritism. If there are any, personal issues are limited to specific teams. Speaking English is encouraged. Again, my experience is consistent with other, multinational companies. So far everyone is open for a dialogue and that includes middle and upper management. Maybe people misread other cultures? Sometimes it's worth having a talk and clarifying things instead of assuming signs which might not be compatible with the culture one knows and understands. Why so many good reviews at once? The poor score has indeed been identified and people are encouraged to post about the company. Nobody was forced to post a positive review. Remember that most people go to the internet to complain, especially if it is anonymous. Why so many angry people? People were indeed let go. The company is navigating through tough waters and the growth goals are ambitious. This is business, sometimes people are let go, even good people. There are companies in Krakow that tend to keep employees (but the growth and compensation are reflecting that). Software business in 2024 is challenging, keep your safety pillow and have plan B. Is this a bad place to work? No, the office is in a great location, business is strong and with real value to the customer. Nowadays it is not hard to get hired by a start-up scamming investors out of money. This is no such place. Is Kaseya a paradise? No, many issues are yet to be solved. Work is tough and resources constrained. The company and senior leadership are sales-focused so if you are an engineer you might find things challenging here. Many teams came from acquisitions and in most cases, people are unhappy with the changes (tell me about an acquisition where most people were happy to be bought out).

This is a discussion about Krakow in Poland. From which acquired companies do you have teams working in Krakow?

Kaseya acquired Datto. Arek, your team Saas backup was part of Datto too. If you caught American engineers from the old Datto then you should understand why they were unhappy. Teams are distributed and your colleagues are not only in Poland. That is why it is good to discuss all aspects of work. I find Mateusz's review balanced and clear. Hi to DevExp team

I've been working at Kaseya, Krakow for two years, and during that time, I've been recognized and promoted due to my work. This company truly values effort and dedication. Those who are committed and show results will 100% have opportunities for growth. One thing I want to emphasize is that people aren’t just fired without reason here. If someone doesn’t want to work, they’ll complain about unfair treatment anywhere. But if someone is determined and goal-oriented, they will find success. I understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for unprofessionalism or laziness. Those who are passionate about their work and committed to their roles will succeed, while those who hide behind excuses will constantly whine and write comments about unfair treatment. The HR team has been incredibly supportive, always ready to help in any situation. The office is cozy and welcoming, creating a great environment to focus and collaborate. The atmosphere within the team is positive, with people helping each other and working together towards common goals. Salaries are competitive, and the benefits and bonuses show the company truly cares about its employees. The management is fair, approachable, and listens to feedback, constantly making improvements. In my team, we have Russian-speaking colleagues, Poles, Americans, Indians, and Irish. We have never had any problems working together because we all operate as professionals. No one has ever judged anyone based on their nationality or language. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed some negative comments here targeting Russian-speaking employees. This fixation on nationality, especially in a global company with offices in Europe, the U.S., Canada, and India, is unacceptable. Such attitudes only highlight the intolerance of the person making those comments, and frankly, there’s no place for that in an international company. Overall, Kaseya is a good place to work, and I’m excited to continue growing with the company as it listens to its employees and strives to make positive changes.
