HR Director

ATTENTION: If you are considering the HR DIRECTOR/MANAGER position with Kaseya in Krakow, beware, they are lying to you. Kaseya has gone through 5 HR Administrators in the 4 years they’ve been in Krakow. The last one left to take a junior role outside of HR, because she’d had enough. They currently don’t have anyone in any HR capacity for the Polish market. 5 HR admins in the span of 4 years in Krakow is unheard of. Think about how long it would take to secure another role in HR in this market. Furthermore, the UK based recruiter that you’re speaking with about this role is not normally involved in Poland operations. Kaseya has two recruiters onsite in Krakow, that are not effective at hiring Polish candidates. Their lead recruiter in Krakow specializes in hiring Russian speaking candidates, the other is an Indian national they hired for D&E optics. Ask to speak with their onsite recruiters if you really want to see Kaseya’s HR capabilities and decide for yourself. Why aren’t there any Polish people involved in their hiring in Poland, because it’s against their interests. Also, HR and Recruiting at Kaseya are NOT under the same operating umbrella at Kaseya, and as an HR Leader you will not have any influence over it. They are hiding this from you. Understand, this company is not interested in solving its problems, only sweeping them under the rug. And you will be doing this for them at your own risk.

To add to the original post. Kaseya has now removed the HR DIRECTOR job posting and has changed the position to HRBP or Manager, WITHOUT changing the actual job requirements! This same role was posted earlier in 2025 as a SITE LEADERSHIP position and then changed again without changing the job requirements. This is the 4th iteration of this HR role with the exact same job requirements posted on 4 totally different organization levels. Site Leader/HR Director > HR Director > HR Manager > HRBP, all with the same job requirements. Does this sound professional in any way? This should give an indication of this company's standards, and how you will be treated.

Czasem trafia sensownie i jakiegos cienkiego ziomka odstrzelą (pół roku później niż by wypadało), czasami dobrych deweloperów/QA, czasami jakiegoś manago co próbował coś zmienić.

2025 a jestem Białorusinem i miałem dobre relacje z zespołem. Moim zdaniem to tak naprawde random lub na podstawie sortowania po "Imię" + "Nazwizko" + "Pensja". Z mojego projektu zwolniono 2ch osób ze mną. Ja mam AA, on miał AB 😅 No a tak firma do znesienia. Można nawet normalnie przeżyć. Kiedyś pracowałem w EPAM Białoruś lub IsSoft - do takiego poziomu jeszcze daleko. Tam mi sądem groziły:)

Overall, this company leaves mixed feelings. From one hand, it's 100% depending on the Manager. If it's a good manager(like in my case), everything will be good. Mine is quite sensible to any team's request and almost never pushes without a need. That's first time in my 8's year career across 6 companies. From the other, a bad manager/ team lead could make your experience quite bad. I know teams which have people that are not happy at all just because of this fact. Yes, is an Russian(actually Belorussian) company, with all the pros and cons. It all depends what you're looking for. Main issue is the fact that most middle-mans don't know how to do proper people management, so they follow old, post-soviet style development practices. I cannot say that the practices are very different from ones done in other companies in Poland. I've worked at much bigger companies and at industry leaders and everywhere the issue was the same - bad managers. I've personally never saw any "bulling" or "blaming" myself, but definitely there's a lot of rudeness(being soft is never a Russian thing). I'm a hard-working person and I get here what I needed, but only because of my team. But in the same time, you can find a way to do minimal work and still get paid, which leads people who already worked here for some time to get too comfortable and don't actually contribute. Kaseya pays well when hiring new people, but it has an awful pay rise system which is not adapted to Polish Market. I recommend to take B2B, since it offers full 20-day vacation leave + you can end your contract at any time if you don't like the experience. The main problem what I see so far is the fact that a lot of Managers and Middle-Mans are completely out-of-touch with the IT. They either love staying 6h a day in meetings or pushing others to get the blame, while they are in some meeting with other middle-mans. Also, a lot of them are used to work in silos, so if you're not used with that - don't even bother. Good news, new CTO actually recognises all of these problems, but it will take at least a year to solve them. If you find a job for like 1 year, it could be good if they offer a good salary. Most important, you have to be sure that the people which interview you are on the same vibe as you, otherwise you might get disappointed. Also, if you see in first 3 months that your teammates are lazy or just like to fool around - just leave the job, since that means you'll have to do their work too. As far as I see in the comments, most people here have issue with the specific individuals, not the company itself, and I cannot say that in other similar companies the situation is different. If you want just a better salary comparing to your current job - it's a good fit. But only because of the salary.

Tomek, słońce, jak tam twoja walka o władzę? Wygląda na to, że słabo idzie, skoro do tej pory piszesz takie rzeczy?

Wow, a lot of complaints there about work culture, management, forces overhours etc. Some of them are true, some are colorized a bit, but it does not look any different than any random company out there. After being in Kaseya for quite some time I can say that over the years situation improved and everything is going on a good direction. I will start with the bads... Paycheck does not really increase too much for underperformers/below average people and it does not happen too often. Problematic people, majority of them from US management (grandpa J y u still there?) but if you are not on management or high technical position you shouldn't have any problems with them. Poor benefits, some sweets, drinks, healthcare and maybe one or two more. Company and the workflow there is pushing you to work, so people who like to rest in the job will quickly get validated. And the goods:) Above the average payroll, but I can only say about part of technical roles. If you are getting your job done, systematically and with transparency, you will get rewarded. Quite a few engineering rockstars, amazing and inteligent people eager to help. If you land in an interesting project you won't get bored. Generally it's not an easy job, broad tech stack, complex and challenging problems, mature projects that require understanding on multiple layers, it really requires people to use their brain. You have, limited by still, freedom of choice how to approach the problem and if you are not underperforming you will rarely get rushed to take shortcuts or ship incomplete solutions. Overall freedom and tolerance, if you are social person there is a lot of people eager to talk with you, if you're not nobody will treat you like a weirdo if you will sit 8 hours with headphones in front of laptop. Also noone gives a heck if you are white, black or pink, tolerant and mostly openminded people. Kaseya is not crazy amazing utopian company, but as a person who's been working here and there I think I would rate it as above average, good money, more positives than negatives, no fireworks.

I was called to defend my good name in the context of writing juicy opinions so I am on the spot. I am not the author of this opinion but plan to issue some later. In the Context of nationality I have always had a deep disregard for who is from where, those who know me know that I have always focused more on the shortcomings in terms of intelligence and cognitive ability :) (usunięte przez administratora)
