Kandydat

I would like to leave an honest review of Innowise. I had experience communicating with the company’s representatives, and from the beginning, the communication felt rather toxic and unconstructive. I believe candidates should not rely only on positive reviews, some of which may appear to have been written by employees under significant pressure. The conversation with the recruiter was generally fine until we started discussing my answers to their questions. My expectations regarding timing and salary were based on the job description and publicly available salary data for the Polish market. However, it turned out that Innowise has its own interpretation of what constitutes a “market-level” salary. A Senior-level salary that, in my opinion, is closer to an average Middle-level salary on the Polish market was presented as something exceptionally attractive. It also became clear that the answer to the question about salary expectations was treated as a final and non-negotiable demand. I had to explain that a company can always present its own offer, after which both sides can discuss it. Eventually, we reached an understanding and moved on to the next stage. The next interview also went relatively well while the discussion focused on my background. However, once it was my turn to ask questions, it became apparent that a significant part of the information provided by the recruiter was inaccurate or inconsistent with what was explained during the following stage. For example: — **Employment model.** The process was initially presented as a B2B opportunity, but later it turned out that other forms of employment were also available. There was also a discussion about mandatory office attendance five days per week. After I pointed out that such an arrangement under a B2B contract could effectively resemble an employment relationship, the topic quickly changed, and it suddenly appeared that attending the office five days per week was not actually mandatory. — **Nature of the hiring process.** At first, it seemed that the recruitment was for a direct internal position within the company. Later, it became clear that it was more of a preliminary offer for future outsourcing or outstaffing projects. — **Compensation review and performance review.** I tried to clarify under what conditions salary reviews take place. Based on the answers, it seemed that an increase would only be possible if an employee learned something fundamentally new. If a specialist continued developing within the same technology, it remained unclear whether a salary review would happen at all. I never received a clear answer. I was repeatedly promised that the information would be clarified, but no follow-up was provided. After these conversations, I was left with the impression that the company aims to get as much as possible from an employee while offering very little in return. I did not see any meaningful benefits, and in my opinion, the proposed salary was not competitive for the Polish market, especially considering the possibility of five days per week in the office and a preliminary offer without payment until the first project begins. I cannot comment on what it is like to work within a specific team because I did not reach that stage. However, the recruitment process, the reliability of the information provided, and the claims about “market-level salaries,” which in my opinion did not reflect the actual market situation, left a very negative impression.

Could you clarify what other forms of employment were ultimately offered besides B2B? Was an employment contract, a mandate contract, or any other arrangement available?
