Your responsibilities
- Cash Management: monitoring and managing the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity needs are met. This includes budgeting and forecasting cash flows, optimizing cash balances and implementing the cash actions as well working closely with the Business and Finance Controllers to minimize financial risk
- Debt Management: managing the organization's debt portfolio, including monitoring debt levels, optimizing debt structures, and refinancing debt as needed to minimize borrowing costs and ensure compliance with debt covenants
- Credit Risk Analysis: assessing the creditworthiness of customers, vendors, and counterparties to determine the risk of default, monitoring the credit portfolio to identify potential credit issues and proactively manage credit risk, include securing collateral, obtaining credit insurance, or structuring transactions
- Credit Policies and Procedures: developing and implementing credit policies and procedures to mitigate credit risk exposure
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: performing financial analysis and preparing reports to support decision-making and strategic planning to senior management.
- Banking Relationships: maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions on behalf of the organization
- Compliance: ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies related to credit and treasury management
Our requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Law or similar area
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Strong experience in managing the treasury and credit control function as well as experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
- Fluent in English, French is a strong plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong work ethics
- Advanced Excel skills
