Your responsibilities

  • Technical Project Leader
  • In this position, your key responsibilities will be:
  • Develop new sensors
  • Be the technical representative in front of customer and external stakeholders from project launch to end of warranty
  • Manage the technical scope of the project and deal with internal and external sub-systems interfaces, reaching the performances required
  • Coordinate with the project core team and integrate the SGX solution in the project
  • Controls the technical consistency through a strong engineering process management, quality, cost and delivery approach
  • Manage the project solution, meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance commitments
  • During project warranty, coordinate actions to support resolution of pending technical issues following Project requirements
  • Manage the transfer of the project from the development phase to the serial production phase together with Industrialization Manager
  • Coordination of the PV validation phase
  • Supervision of production/engineering changes
  • Be the owner of the HW development, considering all requirements and specifications to ensure the success of the project
  • Create new designs from scratch, based on product requirements specifications
  • Modify existing products to satisfy customer-specific needs
  • Define and perform tests over the HW based on requirements and key characteristics
  • Close collaboration with our production line to ensure a design to manufacture in terms of scraps and costs
  • Participate component selection and EBOM optimization
  • Participate in the root causes analysis on different products in collaboration with the different departments
  • Participate in the sensor improvement and bringing new ideas
  • Carry out process validation for new/existing manufacturing processes to meet customer requirements.
  • Be responsible of any technical communications to the customer and external stakeholders such as contractors
  • Be accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solution – as support for Project manager of the new projects or fully for carry over projects
  • Organize Design Review with customer when necessary – as support for Project manager of the new projects or fully for carry over projects
  • Provide all necessary technical inputs for deployment process application
  • Provide all technical documents to the project core team members for the industrialization, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning
  • Solve technical issues detected by different core team members together with Project Manager and R&D team
  • Ensure complete application of all Engineering Processes
  • Managing and support for claims , derogations, change management

Our requirements

  • Desired Skills
  • Master’s degree in Electronics or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience as a HW engineer
  • Experienced in Automotive development process, ideally ASPICE / ISO26262
  • Hardware design experience with different tools (Eagle, KiCad, Altium or equivalent)
  • Experience in Functional Safety is a strong
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance techniques
  • Experience working with projects in APQP/PPAP environment is preferred
  • Use of PFMEA/DFMEA/Control plan tools & risk management techniques
  • Knowledge about ISO16949 IATF
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical data and specifications
  • Ability to have a deep understanding of the product performances, understand the various automotive communication interfaces (LIN, CAN,…), to understand if the available products could meet the new customer requirements
