Our company SC STICI SRL had a very negative payment experience with BET-TRANS Cybulska Beata Borowski Tomasz S.J.
We completed international transport services, the cargoes were delivered, and scanned copies of invoices and transport documents were sent in good quality.
Despite this, a significant amount remained unpaid. After we requested payment, Bet-Trans issued a debit note and attempted to offset our invoices by applying a 5% per day penalty for alleged late delivery of original documents.
We consider this penalty highly disproportionate and we do not accept their debit note, compensation or unilateral set-off.
Based on our experience, carriers should be very careful with this company, especially regarding payment terms, document clauses, penalties and original CMR requirements.
