About the project
We are looking for a Database & API Integration Specialist to join a project focused on data migration between IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising data migration activities, integrating systems through APIs, and ensuring data accuracy and consistency throughout the migration process.
Your responsibilities
- Plan and execute data migration processes between IT systems.
- Integrate systems using APIs (REST APIs or other integration interfaces).
- Administer and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
- Validate data quality, consistency, and completeness during migration activities.
- Monitor migration processes and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams involved in the project.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Our requirements
- 3+ years of experience in database administration, data migration, or system integration.
- Experience in at least one completed data migration project involving data transfer between IT systems through APIs.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL database administration.
- Understanding of system integration and data exchange processes.
- Practical experience with REST APIs or other integration technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to data migration.
- Valid certification: Certified PostgreSQL DBA (CPSDBA), or Equivalent PostgreSQL administration certification issued by an independent certification body.
