About the project
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow professional to join an international organization and take a key role at the intersection of ServiceNow architecture, technical product ownership and platform development.
The role combines technical architecture with strong business-facing responsibilities. You will work closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, define solution approaches and contribute to the roadmap and strategic development of the ServiceNow platform.
At the same time, you will be responsible for architectural design, platform governance, technical standards and supporting the development and delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on ServiceNow expertise with architectural thinking and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Act as a technical product advocate for the ServiceNow platform and collaborate closely with Business Product Owners
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements, use cases and technical design documents
- Support product roadmap planning and evaluate new ServiceNow features and technologies
- Design and maintain ServiceNow platform architecture and provide architectural governance
- Design and develop extensions to the ServiceNow data model, including solutions supporting HRSD and custom applications
- Research alternative technical solutions and recommend scalable and cost-effective approaches
- Participate in architecture review activities and drive solution proposals
- Contribute to ServiceNow application configuration, customization and development
- Lead ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution
- Support release planning, deployment and new technology rollouts
- Review solution designs and testing scenarios to ensure quality and alignment with requirements
- Ensure adherence to technical, security, audit and corporate standards
- Maintain architecture documentation, solution design documents, technical documentation and disaster recovery documentation
- Support governance activities related to security, compliance, audits and business continuity
- Lead technical assignments and mentor other team members
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and stakeholders across the organization
- Communicate complex technical concepts, risks and solution options to non-technical stakeholders
- Continuously assess new ServiceNow capabilities and recommend improvements to the platform
Our requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience with ServiceNow
- Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD (HR Service Delivery)
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, administration, development and deployment
- Experience designing and maintaining ServiceNow platform architecture
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and architecture
- Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies and processes
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting, including client-side and server-side scripting
- Strong JavaScript knowledge
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations and APIs
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, Web Services and integration frameworks
- Understanding of authentication and integration technologies such as SSO, SAML, SSL and LDAP
- Experience with ServiceNow data model design and custom application development
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Ability to conduct technical assessments, define solution approaches and support proof-of-concept activities
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, Product Owners and technical teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC / Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- Experience with ICFR, SRA or similar audit and compliance frameworks
- Experience with ServiceNow Studio and application management
- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and release management
- Knowledge of AngularJS, HTML, CSS and XML
- Experience with Jelly scripting
- Experience with JDBC / ODBC integrations
- Experience in managed services or hybrid internal/external delivery environments
- ServiceNow certifications, particularly Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer or HRSD-related certifications
- Experience working with geographically distributed or onshore/offshore teams
