About the project
We are looking for a Senior OpenShift Technical Lead to take ownership of the technical direction, architecture and key engineering decisions for an enterprise-scale OpenShift platform operating within a complex industrial IT/OT environment.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining deep platform engineering expertise with architectural responsibility and close collaboration across multiple infrastructure and engineering teams.
Your responsibilities
- Own the technical direction and architecture of the OpenShift platform.
- Define technical solutions, standards and engineering approaches.
- Make and communicate key technical decisions across the platform.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance around OpenShift, Kubernetes and container platforms.
- Work with networking, security and enterprise infrastructure teams.
- Design and support cloud, hybrid-cloud and edge architectures.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
- Coordinate technical activities and dependencies across multiple engineering teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform reliability, scalability, security and operational efficiency.
- Support troubleshooting of complex platform and infrastructure issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation, standards and platform strategy.
Our requirements
- Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Platform Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Principal Engineer or in a similar role.
- Deep hands-on expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers and Linux.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud, hybrid-cloud and/or edge architectures.
- Strong background in platform engineering, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, GitOps and container orchestration platforms.
- Ability to make and communicate technical decisions.
- Experience coordinating technical work across multiple teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English.
