About the project
Developer will be responsible for the maintenance and incremental development of a production mobile solution consisting of native iOS and Android applications, as well as Spring Boot backend services and mobile application release management.
Project details:
- Start: ASAP
- Workload: 50% FTE
- Equipment: provided by the client
- Working hours: business hours only (08:00–18:00 GMT/BST)
- On-call: no out-of-hours support required
- Recruitment process: 2 technical interviews
Your responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
- Implement minor feature enhancements and improvements.
- Ensure compatibility with new mobile operating system releases.
- Manage App Store and Google Play release processes.
- Support and maintain the Spring Boot backend.
- Participate in incident analysis, root cause investigations, and resolution activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and delivery teams in an Enhance & Operate model.
Our requirements
- 3+ years of commercial iOS development using Swift and UIKit.
- 3+ years of commercial Android development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience managing mobile application releases end-to-end.
- Experience working with existing Spring Boot applications.
- Knowledge of mobile security concepts and secure authentication.
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in production support environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, WAF.
