About the project
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes/GKE and production operations. The role is focused on operating and improving cloud environments in production, with a strong emphasis on reliability, automation and security.
We are open to strong Mid-level profiles, but we are primarily looking for someone who can work independently, take ownership and contribute from day one.
Your responsibilities
- Operating and maintaining GCP environments in production
- Designing and managing infrastructure using Terraform
- Managing and supporting Kubernetes / GKE environments
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Automating infrastructure and operational processes
- Working with GCP networking, IAM, VPCs, firewall rules and security controls
- Monitoring system performance, availability and reliability
- Supporting production environments, including incident management and troubleshooting
- Implementing observability solutions across cloud environments
- Working with SLIs/SLOs and reliability practices
- Applying security best practices such as least privilege, secrets management and compliance controls
- Collaborating with distributed engineering teams in an international environment
Our requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Very good practical knowledge of Terraform
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and GKE
- Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of GCP IAM, networking, VPC and firewall rules
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Production experience with monitoring, logging and observability
- Experience operating cloud platforms in production, ideally in an SRE / Production Engineering environment
- Hands-on experience with incident management and on-call environments
- Understanding of SLIs, SLOs and reliability engineering practices
- Good knowledge of cloud security, least privilege and secrets management
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical tasks
