About the project
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, reliable, and high-quality backend systems.
In this role, you will work primarily with .NET / C#, AWS, and microservices architecture, applying modern software engineering and DevOps practices to build robust, cloud-native applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical decisions, and help drive engineering excellence across the development lifecycle.
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using .NET / C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Build and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS.
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
- Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and related AWS services.
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and promote best practices in software design, coding standards, and testing.
- Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Our requirements
- Strong proficiency in .NET / C#.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
- Solid experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK Stack, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Practical experience with Docker and containerization best practices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub, including branching strategies and code review processes.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of unit and integration testing, preferably using frameworks such as xUnit.
