The project focuses on designing and evolving SAP S/4HANA solutions supporting Asset Management, Leasing and Investment Management processes. You will work at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise architecture, technical delivery and regulatory compliance.
As a Solution Architect, you will take ownership of the end-to-end architecture lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are scalable, maintainable, compliant and aligned with long-term business objectives.
The environment combines complex SAP S/4HANA architecture, data and integration challenges, Agile delivery methodologies and strict regulatory requirements.
We are looking for an experienced ERP/SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect specializing in Asset Management, Investment Management and Leasing to join a strategic enterprise transformation initiative.
This is a highly specialized architecture role for a senior professional with strong SAP S/4HANA expertise, deep understanding of complex ERP landscapes, and the ability to bridge business strategy with sustainable technical architecture.
The role offers the opportunity to work in a global, highly regulated environment, designing scalable enterprise solutions and shaping the long-term technology strategy for critical business domains.
Your responsibilities
- Design and define scalable, maintainable and standardized solutions within a complex SAP S/4HANA landscape.
- Develop solution architectures supporting Asset Management, Investment Management and Leasing business processes.
- Design robust data architectures and integration patterns across enterprise systems.
- Work closely with developers and technical teams on complex integrations and detailed technical design.
- Apply clean-code principles and sustainable architecture practices to minimize technical debt.
- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into future-proof technical solutions.
- Ensure solutions balance business needs, technical feasibility and long-term IT sustainability.
- Provide technical leadership to Agile teams consisting of SAP consultants, developers and technical specialists.
- Mentor and coach team members in architectural principles, clean-code practices and sustainable solution design.
- Lead architecture and design reviews and provide continuous technical guidance.
- Promote engineering maturity, technical ownership and high-quality delivery standards.
- Establish and maintain architectural standards, guidelines and best practices.
- Partner with Global Business teams, Product Owners and Business Value Stream Leads.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable SAP S/4HANA solution proposals.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor and sparring partner for senior business and IT stakeholders.
- Challenge and evaluate business requests to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and long-term technology strategy.
- Facilitate discussions between business and technical teams and align different stakeholder perspectives.
- Ensure architecture and solution design meet the requirements of a highly regulated environment.
- Embed regulatory and compliance requirements into the complete solution lifecycle.
- Support compliance with GxP, GDPR, FDA and EMA requirements.
- Apply Computer System Validation (CSV) principles where required.
- Ensure appropriate data classification, access controls, traceability and audit readiness.
- Support the delivery of reusable, discoverable and well-governed Data Products.
- Shape the long-term technology and architecture strategy for the Asset Management, Leasing and Investment Management domain.
- Evaluate new technologies, SAP S/4HANA capabilities and integration frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to modernize the ERP landscape and reduce technical debt.
- Create architecture roadmaps aligned with future business growth and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the architecture remains scalable and adaptable to evolving business need
Our requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect, SAP Architect, ERP Architect or similar senior technical leadership role.
- Strong experience designing and implementing solutions within complex SAP S/4HANA enterprise environments.
- Proven experience with enterprise-scale ERP architecture and end-to-end solution design.
- Strong understanding of SAP architecture, data models and integration patterns.
- Experience translating complex business processes into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and their technical implementation.
- Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas: Asset Management Investment Management or Leasing
- Strong experience with solution architecture and technical design.
- Experience designing complex system integrations and middleware solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of clean-code principles and sustainable software architecture.
- Ability to participate in detailed technical discussions with developers and technical teams.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries is highly desirable.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Financial Services or similar regulated environments is an advantage.
- Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with SAFe is an advantage.
- Experience with tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
- Understanding of onsite-offshore and multicultural delivery models.
- Experience working in international and distributed teams.
