About the project
The SAP DRC Finance Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solution. This role bridges the gap between complex global tax regulations and SAP technical architecture. The ideal candidate will ensure that the organization’s electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) and statutory reporting processes comply smoothly with local tax authority mandates worldwide, leveraging SAP S/4HANA or ECC frameworks.
Your responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the SAP DRC framework, including the eDocument Cockpit, Application Interface Framework (AIF), and statutory reporting functionalities.
- Map legal requirements from various countries into standard SAP DRC capabilities (e.g., CTC mandates, e-way bills, SAF-T, and localized VAT reporting).
- Collaborate with integration teams to establish secure connections between SAP and tax authority portals via SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) or API management.
- Partner with Global Tax and Finance teams to monitor changing international tax legislations and translate them into technical SAP specifications.
- Analyze existing financial processes (AP, AR, GL) to optimize tax determination, pricing procedures, and master data for seamless e-invoice generation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day transaction errors within the eDocument Cockpit and AIF monitors.
- Apply SAP Notes, Support Packages, and regulatory updates (such as legal changes delivered via SAP OSS) to keep the compliance framework up to date.
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of specialized experience working with SAP DRC (formerly SAP eDocument and Advanced Compliance Reporting - ACR).
- Proven experience in at least one full-lifecycle global rollout involving local e-invoicing mandates (e.g., Italy SDI, Poland KSeF, France Chorus Pro, Romania RO e-Factura
- Expert knowledge of SAP Indirect Tax (VAT/GST) setup, with deep experience in complex EU tax rules within large MNC environments.
- ABAP debugging skills to troubleshoot complex tax calculation and interface issues.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
