About the project
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP BTP Developer to join a global SAP transformation program. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), contributing to the successful delivery of business-critical solutions in a complex enterprise environment.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, functional consultants, UX designers, project teams, and platform specialists to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality SAP BTP solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Develop solutions using SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAPUI5.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, UX designers, and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in effort estimation, sprint planning, and project delivery activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and blockers in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
- Support authorization-related activities in cooperation with BTP DevOps, Authorization, and business teams.
- Coordinate application deployment activities and support release management processes.
- Provide regular development status updates to project teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and solution design sessions.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP BTP applications and enterprise systems.
- Ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities within the team.
Our requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in SAP development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP).
- Proven experience developing applications using:
- SAP BTP
- SAP Cloud Foundry
- SAP HANA
- SAP Fiori
- SAPUI5
- Experience with application integrations and cloud-based SAP solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern development practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Jira, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and experience working directly with business and technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of at least one SAP S/4HANA business process area.
- Experience with SAP BTP DevOps and authorization concepts.
- Experience in large-scale SAP transformation programs.
- SAP or SAP BTP certifications in relevant technologies.
