About the project
We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Solution Architect / Functional Consultant to join a complex ERP transformation program supporting enterprise customers in the Nordic market.
In this role, you will act as a senior functional and advisory expert throughout the full Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation lifecycle. You will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and project leadership to analyse business needs, design scalable ERP solutions and ensure successful implementation and adoption.
The position combines hands-on Dynamics 365 Finance expertise, solution architecture and client-facing consulting. You will be involved in activities ranging from business process analysis and solution design to implementation, workshops, training and post-go-live optimisation.
Your responsibilities
- Act as a senior functional consultant and solution architect for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust functional and technical solutions
- Design end-to-end ERP solutions aligned with business objectives and Microsoft Dynamics best practices
- Define and document solution architecture, functional scope and solution components
- Lead functional design activities throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, key users and technical teams
- Advise customers on finance processes, ERP capabilities and opportunities for process optimisation
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to ensure successful solution implementation
- Support configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live activities
- Prepare and deliver user training and knowledge-transfer sessions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate complex ERP concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimisation of existing Dynamics 365 solutions
- Work independently while proactively identifying risks, dependencies and potential improvements
Our requirements
- Senior-level hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Microsoft Dynamics AX
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including their implementation within ERP environments
- Proven experience working on ERP implementation and transformation projects
- Previous experience in a client-facing consulting, advisory or solution design role
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective functional and technical solutions
- Practical experience with solution architecture and ERP best practices
- Strong understanding of the Dynamics 365 Finance functional landscape
- Excellent workshop facilitation, presentation and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently, proactively and effectively in an international project environment
- Previous experience working as a Dynamics 365 Solution Architect
- Experience with additional Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules
- German language skills
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX certifications
- Experience leading complex ERP workstreams or functional teams
- Experience with enterprise-scale transformation programs
