As GL Specialist (m/f/d) you will be a part of a team responsible for providing high quality accounting service in the GL for internal clients around the globe. Along with daily operational tasks, you will also have an opportunity to take part in the process transition, including creating procedures, recognizing areas for enhancement and introducing improvements, and stabilizing the migrated process.

Responsibilities
Recording and pre-closing transactions
Analysing and reconciling accounts and resolving issues
Closing books and performing post-closing activities
Supporting financial reporting
Maintaining accounting master data
Preparing VAT declarations
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Have Minimum 2 years of General Ledger experience required (former experience with US GAAP)
Graduate min. BSc. degree or equivalent in Accounting
Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English
Knowledge of German, French, Italian or Spanish would be an advantage
Very good knowledge of SAP ERP
Have advanced computer proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel expertise
Demonstrate ability to work on and own initiatives
Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, then make clear and timely decisions
Be self-reliance and ability to escalate appropriately
Have organizational skills, be open-minded and receptive to change.
