About the project
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead / Engineering Lead with Solution Architect capabilities to join our project. These two roles can be performed by one person with a strong background in Platform Engineering, AWS, and Data Engineering.
The project focuses on designing, developing, and evolving modern data platforms and scalable cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will provide both technical leadership and architectural guidance, ensuring high-quality engineering standards and effective delivery of data-driven solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical vision, architecture, and engineering strategy for data platform solutions.
- Act as a technical leader, providing guidance and support to engineering teams.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions based on AWS cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and other technical teams to deliver complex solutions.
- Lead architectural decisions and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Establish engineering best practices, standards, and development processes.
- Support the design and implementation of data processing and analytics platforms.
- Review technical solutions and provide recommendations for improvements.
Our requirements
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, or Solution Architect.
- Strong background in Platform Engineering and designing enterprise-scale platforms.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services.
- Solid experience in Data Engineering environments.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Databricks
- Apache Spark
- Apache Hive
- Hadoop
- Strong understanding of data platforms, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
- Ability to combine strategic architectural thinking with hands-on engineering expertise.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
