About the project
Join a global Network Security team responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing advanced security solutions within a large enterprise environment.
In this role, you will work on Edge Network Security initiatives covering Next-Generation Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Zero Trust, and hybrid/multi-cloud security. You will collaborate with international Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security teams to build and maintain secure, scalable network environments.
Your responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Palo Alto and/or Fortinet Next-Generation Firewall environments.
- Manage and optimize High Availability architectures (Active/Active, Active/Passive).
- Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions.
- Configure and secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Develop and optimize DDoS Protection, Threat Prevention policies, and security controls.
- Automate security infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, security events, and incidents.
- Support security incident investigations and collaborate with Incident Response teams.
- Work closely with global Infrastructure, Cloud, and Security engineering teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Our requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Security.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet security solutions.
- Practical knowledge of: Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), SSL/TLS Inspection, IPS/IDS, WildFire, URL Filtering, GlobalProtect.
- Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP; knowledge of at least two platforms is a strong advantage).
- Understanding of DDoS Protection, ZTNA, and SASE concepts.
- Practical experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, DNS, TLS/SSL.
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience with Cloudflare, Akamai, or F5 solutions.
- Knowledge of Prisma Access or Zscaler.
- Experience with GitHub and Go.
- Security certifications such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Security, or CISSP.
- Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, or financial sectors.
