Your responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials, equipment, and services required for production or operations.
- Analyze market trends, evaluate supplier capabilities, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, engineering, and logistics teams, to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Review purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to assess reliability, quality, and overall satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels, track order status, and expedite deliveries as necessary to meet production schedules.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, to achieve the best value for the organization.
Our requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and favorable terms with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in sourcing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and procurement software.
