Your responsibilities

  • Design and execute business development strategies targeting defence, security and government markets.
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with ministries, defence agencies, NATO entities, prime contractors and international partners.
  • Identify and capture opportunities arising from EDF, EDA, NATO and national defence programmes.
  • Lead strategic capture activities throughout the entire business acquisition lifecycle.
  • Coordinate the development of competitive technical and commercial proposals.
  • Establish and manage international industrial partnerships and consortium structures.
  • Work closely with technical teams to align customer capability requirements with product and mission solutions.
  • Monitor geopolitical developments, defence priorities and procurement trends affecting future business opportunities.
  • Represent the company during high-level meetings, industry events and international defence exhibitions.
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth through long-term account development and strategic opportunity management.

Our requirements

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of business development within defence, aerospace, security or other highly regulated technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of NATO, EDF, EDA and European defence procurement frameworks.
  • Experience engaging with military stakeholders, government institutions and defence-industrial ecosystems.
  • Ability to manage complex, long-term, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and consortium-based opportunities.
  • Knowledge of technologies supporting ISR, Earth Observation, SATCOM, Space Security and Mission-Critical Systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and strategic communication skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and ability to operate autonomously.
  • Fluent English (C1/C2).
  • Experience with NATO procurement procedures.
  • Technical or engineering background.
  • Existing network within the European defence and security community.
  • Understanding of space-based capabilities supporting defence and national resilience.
