Your responsibilities
- Lead the recently established team, focusing on improving efficiency and setting clear goals
- Actively engage in the end-to-end accounts payable process, including receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices
- While being also operative, give guidance and promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing
- Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Establish and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Provide hands-on training to team members, sharing best practices and ensuring skill development
- Conduct regular audits and ensure an up to date process documentation
Our requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Proven experience in an accounts payables role, with hands-on expertise in invoice processing
- Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in AP automation tools
- Previous experience in driving process improvements and implementing system enhancements
- Proficient in written and spoken English
