About the project
The project focuses on a large-scale Big Data platform migration and vendor replacement within a Hadoop/Cloudera environment. The Project Manager will lead the transition end-to-end, coordinating delivery, timelines, dependencies, budget, risks, and stakeholders while ensuring predictable execution and clear progress reporting to senior stakeholders and SteerCo.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate the vendor change as project manager
- Plan and manage delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, risks
- Plan and manage budget and financial forecasting of the project
- Monitor and report delivery progress and risks, proactively identifying issues and risk and escalating where needed to ensure predictable execution
- Uphold project management discipline by promoting a strong delivery culture
- Run project team meerings
- Do progress reporting and SteerCo reporting
Our requirements
- Proven track record in leading a Large-Scale Platform Migration or vendor replacement project in Hadoop / Cloudera Domain
- Good risks & issue management skills
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail; able to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills: able to engage and drive follow-up actions and able to bring clarity both in verbal and written communication
- Excellent stakeholder and executive stakeholder management skills
- Excellent English skills, both in speaking and writing
