(Assistant) Cost Recovery Specialist

Job description
The main purpose of the role is to ensure our customers are invoiced with the right amount and correct tariffs for Waiting Time, Terminal Storage and Asset Rent. It involves building strong relations with Sales, Customer Service and Haulage Planning teams. Your duties will cover maintaining tariff database, identifying and preparing cost recovery calculations, maintaining accurate records and documentation related to cost recovery activities in ERP system. You will be handling of customer claims related to Cost Recovery and dunning for selected invoices. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders regarding billing and payment discrepancies will also be a part of your duties.

A successful profile
To apply for this position a university degree in transport or related is required. Moreover, you should have gained previous experience in a transportation company and have good understanding of the shipping industry and ancillary charges. Very good command of English language and proficiency in MS Excel are must have. Command of Italian, German or Spanish language will be an asset. To be a strong candidate for this position you should also have:
  • ability to engage with other people and to build professional relations,
  • initiative and ability to improve whole processes covering internal value chain and cooperation between departments,
  • attention to details,
  • ability to work under pressure and to do repetitive work.
