I was contacted directly by an in-house recruiter from Nasuni, who encouraged me to apply for a specific role, saying my background was a good match. Encouraged by this outreach, I tailored my application and submitted my CV through their system.
After that, the recruiter went completely silent. I received a response only 2 days later – a generic, copy-paste rejection email with no feedback or explanation.
In my view, this is highly unprofessional. When a company initiates contact, they have a basic obligation to provide meaningful follow-up. A generic rejection after personally inviting a candidate to apply shows either carelessness or a lack of respect for candidates' time.
It is also worth noting that Nasuni is a US-based company backed by private equity. In my observation, such structures often prioritize rapid growth over stable, people-oriented processes – and this recruitment experience seems to reflect exactly that.
I would not recommend applying to this company if you value transparency, respect, and a well-organized hiring process.
