About the project
In this role, you will work closely with development, application maintenance, testing, and release teams to support the delivery and maintenance of business-critical systems.
You will be responsible for requirements analysis, impact assessment, validation of changes, and support of production incident resolution in a complex enterprise environment.
Your responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Perform impact analysis for system changes and enhancements
- Validate developer implementations and test results
- Prepare and maintain application documentation
- Document test outcomes and support quality assurance activities
- Support Application Maintenance teams in production incident analysis and resolution
- Collaborate with Release Managers during deployment and release activities
- Work closely with development, testing, and business teams to ensure successful delivery
- Continuously improve knowledge of tools, technologies, and business processes
Our requirements
- Strong experience as a Mainframe Analyst or similar role
- Deep understanding of mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMS
- Experience in requirements gathering and impact analysis
- Experience in application documentation and maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience validating system changes and test results
- Experience supporting production incidents and Application Maintenance (AM) teams
- Experience collaborating with Release Management processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Experience in banking or financial services
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of regulatory or compliance-driven projects
- Experience with modernization initiatives involving mainframe systems
