You'll help develop new software and updates, making sure they meet industry standards and our own rules. Every day, you'll follow guidelines from DO-178B/C for software projects to help with compliance and certification. Your job will involve checking documents like requirements, designs, tests, and problem reports.
You can work from every place in Poland and meet team once per quarter in the office in Gdańsk.
Key responsibilities
Validating software development delivered by suppliers
Supporting suppliers during software development for aviation systems
Taking part in involvement (SOI) reviews/audits, requirements reviews, design reviews phase
Creating certification plans and summaries to support compliance findings
Supporting suppliers with designing software and products according to FAA regulations
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands-on involvement in the complete software development process and adeptness in Project Management Methodologies, encompassing the creation of project blueprints, overseeing challenges, and mitigating risks
Proficiency in various programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python
Skilled in collaborating with clients or engaging with suppliers
Proficient in software user acceptance testing procedures, software integration testing, devising test blueprints, and tracing requirements and outcomes
Familiarity with the DO-178C (or equivalent) lifecycle would be advantageous
