Your responsibilities
- Are you ready to embark on an exciting career opportunity? We are currently seeking a Service Business Controller, EEM, to become a valued member of the Business Controlling Finance team at KONE Eastern Europe and Mediterranean frontline. The frontline consists 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, as well as the Mediterranean region—from Poland and Czechia, through the Balkans (including Croatia, Bulgaria, and Romania), to Greece, Cyprus, and Israel. This position offers a unique chance to play a pivotal role. As a trusted business partner, you will contribute to the strategic and evolving Service division at KONE.
- In more detailed, the main responsibilities in the role would include:
- Business partnering with strong outside-in mindset - understanding of the business logic and dependencies between key operational processes, relationships, and metrics.
- Acting as a finance business partner to Service business line, providing actionable management insight and guiding commercial decisions toward profitable growth
- Go beyond standard actuals understanding toward forward looking business development to influence business stakeholders in decision-making
- Cooperation with local finance, supporting performing classic controlling activities such as budgeting, on time and quality month end closing, actual results reporting (e.g. Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow etc) and forecast preparation incl. variance analysis
- Continues process improvement and simplification combined with tasks automation
- Support strategic and long-term planning for supporting business line.
- Provide advice and support to the finance and business community on reporting and accounting matters
Our requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Master degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Self-motivated and result driven personality with project management skills.
- Ability to influence and drive improvement in processes incl. effective communication is a must.
- Sound business acumen, demonstrating the ability to combine the key commercial and financial drivers with understanding of core business issues and challenges
- Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must, knowledge of SAP and related SAP BPC tool will be an asset
- Fluent command of English (verbal and written) is a must
- Ambitious and open for future development
- Business Partnering mindset and can do attitude
- Key soft-skill: problem solving, analytical thinking, drive & energy to act, continuous improvement & collaboration,
