Conduct discovery workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Inventory and document all business applications/software, including purpose, owners, users, licensing, integrations, infrastructure, and support arrangements.
Map applications/software from the acquired company to the existing enterprise application/software portfolio.
Assess functional overlap, duplication, and opportunities for consolidation.
Identify business-critical applications and dependencies.
Produce software rationalization recommendations, including retain, replace, retire, or consolidate options.
Work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and business teams to validate findings.
Present recommendations and executive summaries to IT leadership.
Support the development of the post-acquisition application integration roadmap.
Wymagania
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures from an IT perspective.
Strong application portfolio assessment and rationalization experience.
Experience documenting application/software landscapes and dependencies.
Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops.
Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
Experience with application lifecycle management and governance.
Understanding of SaaS, on-premises, and hybrid application environments.
Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data flows.
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITIL) concepts.
Understanding of software licensing and vendor management.
Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance considerations when assessing applications.
Experience producing architecture diagrams, inventories, and executive reports.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced integration environment.
