Your responsibilities
- Modeling, designing and implementing new products.
- Modification and development of existing products.
- Create technical documentation for manufactured products.
- Participation in team work at all levels of new product development.
- Participation in prototype construction and testing.
- Integrity appraisal of mechanical product designs.
- Preparation of 3D models, drawings and assembly in CAD system.
- Preparing modification cards and material lists (BOM).
- Responsibility for designing solutions, implementation dates, costs and quality of projects.
- Enter and maintain production data in SAP.
- Assist QC dept. in the analysis (with tests needed) of complaints from customers or internal non conformity.
- Assist QC in the qualification of new suppliers with tests.
- Identification of new technologies and development techniques.
- Reporting on project status.
Our requirements
- Educational background as a mechanical engineer with preferably hands on experience in tool making, precision engineering or similar.
- Very good English both orally and in writing.
- Technically very skilled with practical background in building prototypes.
- Creative, innovative, with a strong quality mindset and ability to work analytically, systematically and structurally.
- Practical experience in working in a R&D department.
- Familiar with designing products in SolidWorks CAD software and creating 3D documentation of the design.
- Knowledge of metals and processing of these.
