Responsibilities

  • Managing and continuously improving partnerships with third-party vendors in the payroll and time & attendance areas
  • Managing the processing and financial reconciliation of salaries
  • Interpreting HR directives and frameworks based on local needs and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external legal requirements
  • Developing procedures, interpreting and applying policies in the area of specialization (local wage and hour regulations, HR related trends, local needs related to labor market trends)
  • Developing performance targets; taking appropriate action to ensure that agreed targets are met, ensuring that the required skills are present in the local team to implement the adopted strategy
  • Communicating the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; clarify the connection to the mission, vision and values of the broader organization; motivate employees to commit to these goals
  • Identification of the organization needs for missing skills and maintaining internal employment policies
  • Providing analysis of local HR data; identify key trends and contribute to HR insights to increase employee engagement and improve business performance
  • Advising on the interpretation and application of regional procedures, resolving contentious inquiries and enabling appropriate action to be taken
  • Developing and implementing budget plans based on local guidelines
  • Researching and developing a detailed understanding of external developments and contributing to the assessment of their potential impact or suitability for the organization

Requirements

  • Experience in a managerial position (5+ years)
  • Knowledge of process management and continuous improvement
  • Area/process management experience
  • Knowledge of HR laws, regulations and policies.
  • Highly developed presentation skills
  • Experience in implementing and managing a payroll system
  • Experience with GDPR
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Fluency in english
  • Willingness to undertake business trips
  • Accuracy, reliability and responsibility for performing assigned tasks
