Your responsibilities
- Lead the development team and provide technical direction for the company.
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, architecture, and standards.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and goals.
- Ensure the quality of software delivery, architecture, and security.
- Mentor and guide junior developers.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Front-end Development with React and Next.js.
- CMS-related Backend Development with Drupal and Magento.
- Familiarity with classical DevOps practices and cloud-based DevOps on AWS.
- Maintaining and writing documentation.
- Database Development: expertise in SQL-based databases and familiarity with non-SQL databases such as MongoDB or AWS DynamoDB.
- Optimize the performance of applications through careful analysis and application of best practices.
- Adhere to best practices related to programming design patterns.
Our requirements
- Proven experience in web development and software architecture.
- Strong expertise in React, Next.js, TypeScript, Drupal, Magento, WordPress, Docker, and AWS.
- Ability to evaluate different solutions.
- Experience leading development teams and delivering technical projects (+2years).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creativity in solving complex challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Emphasis on testing and code quality with familiarity in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) best practices.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Architecture as Code (e.g. Terraform or AWS alternatives) and understanding of microservices approach.
