About the project
We are currently seeking an experienced .NET Developer to join a long-term project for our client – a global provider of solutions for sheet metal processing. The company focuses on automating the entire material and data flow across the process chain, including cutting, bending, and welding.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions in the area of industrial automation, focusing on .NET technologies
- Design and implement application logic for complex automation workflows related to cutting, bending, and welding processes
- Collaborate with CAD/CAM experts and automation engineers to ensure accurate integration with design tools and manufacturing systems
- Utilize strong mathematical and algorithmic knowledge (e.g. computational geometry, spatial data processing) to solve technical challenges
- Work with CAD data formats and contribute to the optimization of digital material flow
- Participate in technical discussions, propose architecture improvements and best practices
- Ensure high code quality, performance, and scalability of the developed solutions
- Support cross-functional collaboration within an international development team
- Be open to occasional business trips to Switzerland for workshops and knowledge transfer sessions
Our requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a .NET Developer
- Knowledge of tools and techniques used in designing automation systems (e.g., CAD)
- Solid understanding of mathematical and algorithmic logic
- Experience in industrial automation projects
- Very good command of English (required for daily communication with international teams)
