Lufthansa Global Business Services (LGBS) operates as an international organization with a worldwide  delivery structure providing business services in the areas of Finance, HR, Revenue Accounting, Management Reporting and Procurement for entire Lufthansa Group. 

Krakow Center is the main hub for the delivery organization including also central functions for the group companies covering both standard as well as customized processes for airline business. Besides operations, Krakow Center has also teams specialized in Process Management, Migration Support, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of operations in R2R
  • Knowledge of Process Management (process improvement, gaining efficiency) and Project Management
  • Excellent command of all Windows applications,
  • Knowledge of ERP system will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of R2R IT Solution (i.e. Runbook/Blackline) will be an asset
  • Very good command of English
  • Strong communication, presentation and co-operation skills, negotiation skills

Responsibilities:
Process Manager is responsible for the services performed by the teams with regard  to continuous improvement of quality, efficiency and compliance with internal control systems  and regulations.
Overall process management finance for Service Module Closing, InterCompany Financial Clearing, IATA Financial Clearing and Fixed assets:

  • Development, standardization and optimization of the processes,
  • Implementation of the processes in scope ensuring quality with lower costs and higher productivity,
  • Working on process documentation and KPIs,
  • Cooperation with other group companies in order to increase the quality and end-to-end process effectiveness.
 
Tasks:

  • Process Manager for company's service module “Closing", pre-closing Processes, excluding financial balance sheet creation and financial reporting
  • Cooperation with operational teams and Process Architects (P2P, R2R, O2C)
  • Define and implement new/changed processes and procedures within service module “Closing” and within Company’s Service Centers in cooperation with closing community and Business Unites
  • Ensure compliance of pre-closing processes
  • Process management and optimization of pre- closing procedures in cooperation with closing community
  • Interface towards external accounting and balance sheet department of Business Units
  • Development of KPI’s within service module “Closing”
  • Ensure quality of process documentation
  • Cooperation with other R2R process managers
  • Evaluation of quality of process performance, analyze and optimize processes within all service centers  
  • Support RtR process management in further upcoming tasks and initiatives related to pre-closing
