About the project
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team for a strategic data management project. This product is designed to provide critical data and applications that facilitate strategic decision-making, aligning project portfolios with business strategies. You will play a vital role in executing projects and assessing strategic execution while enabling diversification of risk across the project portfolio. Your efforts will support the coordination of various development projects within and across Local Capability Teams (LCTs), ensuring optimal utilization of financial, human, and technical resources to maximize overall project delivery performance.
Work Mode: 100% Remote
Working Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Your responsibilities
- Utilize your 2+ years of relevant experience in data engineering to contribute to data harmonization, enhancing the usability and value of data from diverse sources and formats.
- Reconcile and transform data from multiple sources into standardized formats to support project needs.
- Assist in project and program management activities, bringing your knowledge to streamline processes and improve execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver planned project outcomes effectively
Our requirements
- Proficient in database management systems (DBMSs) with a strong understanding of data acquisition, storage, transformation, and management.
- Experience in utilizing various data formats and tools to harmonize and reconcile data.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices is a plus.
- Proficient in Python for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
- Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and querying.
