Within the Digital Transformation (DT) practice, we are looking for a senior and experienced Business Consultant to lead our Salesforce team. The role is our most senior client-facing dedicated Salesforce specialist. The role is business-focused rather than technical, and operates across pre-sales, sales and delivery of Consulting (advisory) and combined Consulting & Systems Implementation/Integration projects.
The role, which is likely to be at Principal or Associate Partner level, is a key member of the DT practice, and will also liaise across our Digital Technology Unit, our Systems Integration business, especially the Salesforce practice, Customer Experience Centre of Excellence and our Global Delivery Centres in Poland and India.
The role is Poland-based (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw) and involves extensive travel, mostly in Europe but as required worldwide.
The role requires strong capability across business consulting, client engagement, deal-making, solution architecture (high level) and the ability to pull together and manage teams to deliver the full detailed solution. This will be across several client projects running in parallel.
The role requires expertise in the Salesforce offerings and business model (or an ability to develop this quickly based on prior domain expertise). This would ideally be from Salesforce solutions such as Sales, Service, Marketing clouds; insights into Community, Wave Analytics and IoT are also valued. A technical background in configuring the above, and/or in developing solutions e.g. for the App Exchange, may also provide a solid background upon which to develop your career as a business consultant.
Whilst the focus is on Salesforce, the role also requires an ability to think from the client’s business problem angle, including the prevention of techno solutionism or framing solutions around an ecosystem of products when appropriate. Other technologies of particular interest are Sitecore, Adobe, SAP Hybris, Magento, Pega.
The role spans the full lifecycle of consulting, from pre-sales, through sales and delivery (though does not carry a personal sales target), and regular management liaison, team leadership and internal stakeholder engagement.
