Infrastructure Team Leader

The responsibilities will include:

  • Infrastructure Business Development, including creation and implementation of the development strategy, establishing and initiating contacts with potential customers, actively seeking new projects on the market
  • Daily leadership and organisation of our Infrastructure teams across our Warsaw, Krakow and Belgrade offces including motivating employees to professional and personal development in order to improve the quality of services and relationships inside and outside the company, supervision of the knowledge and experience of the infrastructure team
  • Responsibility for the fnancial results of the infrastructure team
  • Acting as a Bid and Project Director

 

The Infrastructure team leader will participate at a senior level in the Group, working collaboratively with the Poland Group Leader as well as the leaders of our Buildings and Consulting groups, and other local business leaders, to achieve the high performance of the business in Poland Group as a whole. The team leader will also work in the framework of policies set by the Region Board and coordinate with the regional leadership team to set and execute the strategy and support and enable Arup’s growth and success in Poland and Continental Europe
 

Our expectations:

  • 10-15 years of managerial experience within an international environment
  • Ability to develop strategies for the development of the team and successful implementation
  • Experience in managing large and multi-disciplinary project teams
  • Ability to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to coordinate project teams and disciplines in several areas of business at the same time
  • Ability to make decisions and take responsibility
  • Willingness to continuously improve skills and knowledge sharing
  • Developed negotiation skills
  • Fluent English
  • Successful delivery in a similar role or in a role that provides adequate preparation for the role
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and teams and inspire high levels of performance
  • Experience building successful long term client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and successfully as part of a larger leadership team to set and achieve strategic objectives and manage operational matters
