Management, development and monitoring of PMS schedules with regular communication on progress to the Engineering Management.
Management of the Job Request System ensuring all work is recorded and completed on time
Prioritisation, planning and issuing of work duties to the team of skilled and semi-skilled technicians.
Completion of failure analysis on plant and equipment with follow up/follow through on progress of daily/weekly work plans and or project work to ensure it is organised and structured.
Operation at all times to the highest attainable safety standards.
Instil a safety Conscious attitude and work methods into all team members and make regular checks on safe operating procedures to include adherence to PPE regulations.
Ensure clean and tidy working practices are adhered to at all times
Attendance at meetings as and when required followed by the formal communication where necessary to disseminate relevant information to the Skilled and Semi-Skilled Technicians
Planning and co-ordination of necessary training and support of the team on all small and large projects
Be willing to undertake personal development in line with the Moy Park Values Framework
To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
Be responsible for ensuring all Tradesmen complete the handover book with downtime reasons and solutions to those problems with time and dates involved.

Measurable outputs :
Achieve a preventative maintenance score of <90%
RM spend delivered within stretch budget
Control overtime to 5% of standard work time
Ensure departmental Non Attendance is proactively managed, with a 100% completion of RTW interviews
Working with departmental management devise and present an action plan that will enable skills are maintained within the department-taking into consideration current age demographics
Ensure legal compliance in all areas
Reduction in Departmental accidents by reinforcing health & safety standards e.g. enforcing Safe Operating Practices, Lock out / Tag Out Policy, applying Machinery Directive recommendations and legislative requirements.
Identify areas to reduce the factories energy figures and its effects on the environment.
Must have an NVQ level 3 qualifications or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical)
